It’s officially been 2 months since my last day on television.
My phone is free of meetings, work texts, zoom calls, teams and email!
I don't have a chroma wall to dance in front of but my kitchen island does the trick and my audience of 3 thinks I'm funny.
People ask me how I spend my days...
I spend a lot of time with my kids. All and as much as possible. It's chaotic and wild! And also extremely rewarding to be in the present and not tired or worse in a hurry.
When the troops are fed and off to school I enjoy time selfishly on myself. A- LOT of TIME.
I've recently taken up swimming laps.
And reconnecting with hobbies, that I had little time to do before.
I’ve quit drinking coffee, or anything caffeinated, including my beloved Coca Cola.
I've quit drinking fizzy drinks, and lost 6lbs!
I'm happy, my kids are very happy, but my husband is the most. "Thank God you are retired wifey."
Turns out I'm a great chef, and a very hot mom!
I randomly visit Peter at his office or at his projects and together we dream about our future.
I don’t know if my break will last forever… but for now, mi Ahora mismo, is a exactly what my heart needed.
Taking a break and focusing on myself have helped me be more present and fulfilled for my family and myself. I’m off my anxiety medication and I feel rested, relieved, complete y Feliz.
